Gone Fishing

The boys have been fishing at a little lake in a nearby neighborhood and I went for the first time tonight. I was able to witness this wonderful scene:

Get it... Almost...Good Job! Proud Fisherman

As you can see, Eddie has no fear of the slimy fish! Augie, on the other hand, had better luck with the geese: (getting close that is, not catching any!)

Augie at the Lake

I started some seersucker pants today, well not really started- just got to iron the edge-wrinkles out. (Too much sun, too many crabby kids, and not long enough naps!) I hope to get them done tomorrow so I can post SOMETHING with all the fabric I’ve been buying…

  1. Where’d you go? Looks fun. Our kids (Lori’s too) love to fish with our Papa. They think it is awesome.

Hope you little sprouts are rested now, and the crabbies have hit the road.

Fun pictures! I would not let a slimy fish that near my face but little boys don’t seem to mind gross stuff, do they. I can’t wait to see what you make next, I’m so impressed you can get anything done at all with the little ones around. Hooray for naptime right!

How fun! Eddie would love to get slimmed huh? Hey & every kid needs a picture holding up his catch. Every boy in daddys family had one. Too cute.

  4. Yes, it has been too nice out (no complaining) to really get too much done inside. Oh well – gotta love the summers in the NW! There will be plenty of rainy days to come this fall, winter…and spring!

    Take care!
