About Us:

We are an active family who loves to do just about anything. I’m a mom of three: August, Edward, and Olivia. Dad teaches science while I get to stay home with our kids and usually a few extra to help pay the bills. We live in the NW and enjoy our mountains, beaches and valleys during the frequent school breaks. I love just about any craft and hopefully will get more time to do them now that the kids are growing up… slowly, but surely!

I have just found your blog and I LOVE IT! I want to ask you a question about your categories though. I have just started a blog in wordpress (while mine is nothing like yours yet) I want to know how you get your words staggered and different sizes like that? It’s very cute!

    Hi Irene,

We are going to Ohau(sp?) on Sunday. Thought I would get in touch with Finni while we are there – do you have her e mail?

Thank you for creating this site! I have been looking for ways to remake clothes, and to cut down on the amount of fabric that inevitably ends up in landfills by thrifting more, without feeling deprived. I am asking for a sewing machine for Christmas, and will be back here often for tips and ideas. My son is 10 months old right now, and I am just getting to the point where crafting sounds possible again:)!

  10. Just found your blog and am really enjoying it. I love how you show/blog about your mistakes as well as your successes in crafting – it gives me hope for myself!

  11. Wow, I really love your website. My mum and dad have been mushroom hunters as well and they are always raving about their latest find, and I am loving your crafting.

  13. Hi Irene. I found you through your tote tutorial over at Sew Mama Sew. I decided to comment over here, because that post was a bit old, and I wanted to be sure you got my comment. I tried the tutorial, and absolutely loved it.

You taught me a few things that I did not know. πŸ™‚ I posted my results over on my blog, http://lookmanopatterns.blogspot.com/2009/12/more-bags.html

    Thank you again.
